Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completed secondary school graduation
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years or more of experience working in a warehouse environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be in good physical condition, capable of standing, walking, sitting, and handling boxes
- The candidates should be capable of lifting, moving cartons, boxes up to 50 pounds (23kg) and repeatedly bending or stooping to ground level
- The candidates should be willing to work with rolling equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys, and carts
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid, active Class 5 or Class 7 (N) driver’s license and a minimum of one (1) year of direct work experience in an automated, fast-paced, performance-oriented logistics and distribution organization
- The candidates should have experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system such as SAP or an equivalent and experience using RF scanning or voice pick technology and equipment for receiving, picking, or doing replenishments
- The candidates should have experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, order pickers, or ride-on power jacks
- The candidates should have experience using automated horizontal or vertical carousel picking systems White, Raymond and work experience receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and handling medical devices, products and pharmaceutical drugs in a logistics environment
- The candidates should have work experience requiring compliance with Health Canada regulations specific to medical devices
- The candidates should have experience using automated third-party shipping systems Loomis and Purolator and beginner to intermediate-level Microsoft Excel experience
- The candidates should have occupational certification in Transportation and Handling of Dangerous Goods (TDG certificate)
- The candidates should have a WHIMS certificate and be certified in the operation of Material Handling equipment
