Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist customers as an Over-the-Counter Associate.
- The candidates should be able to properly zone their assigned area
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks delegated by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager
- The candidates should be able to maintain modular and feature presentation
- The candidates should be able to maintain exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Wal-Mart
- The candidates should be able to maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act
- The candidates should be able to maximize department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager
- The candidates should be able to rotate stock and check for expired products
- The candidates should be able to zone the department
- The candidates should be able to follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- The candidates should be able to keep the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
- The candidates should be able to maintain zero pricing errors (i.e., Scanning Credibility Program)
- The candidates should be able to calibrate equipment used in the prescription filling process
