Canada’s Wonderland based in Vaughan, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Park Services Maintenance Crew. Canada’s Wonderland is a top notch theme park of 134-hectare at Vaughan. We are known as one of the safest theme parks. We are the country’s largest theme park. With rides, we also have the live shows and special events through spring, summer, fall, and winter including Halloween Haunt and the immersive holiday event WinterFest. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The shifts the candidate has to work are yet to be determined.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.

- The candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- The candidates should be energetic, confident, and professional
- The candidate must be able to perform strenuous activities including heavy lifting and bending
- The candidate must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license (class G/G2). Note: If hired, a driver’s abstract must be provided
- The candidate should be able to work for extended periods of time outdoors
- The candidate should be able to work required shifts starting as early as 6:00am within the normal park operating season, as well as weekends and holidays
- The candidate should be able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to complete operation of waste disposal and recycling equipment
- The candidate should be able to complete operation of motorized vehicles
- The candidate should be able to complete departmental stock inventory control and handling
- The candidate should be able to assist with park pest control program
- The candidate should be able to maintain Park and back area cleanliness including use of small machinery including pressure washers and leaf blowers
- The candidate should be able to minor carpentry/repair work using hand and power tools
- The candidate should be able to assist with other logistical duties as required and assigned
