Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Overtime, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Quick Books, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate accuracy, maintain client focus, communicate effectively in oral and written form, show flexibility, stay organized, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries, deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance plans, store, update, and retrieve financial data, perform clerical duties such as maintaining filing systems, and perform human resources related duties such as personnel selection
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile payrolls to bank statements, and complete and submit documentation for benefits administration, inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, compile statistics and reports, and evaluate work environments for disease or injury prevention
  • The candidates should be able to maintain payroll, records of attendance, leave, and overtime, and prepare T4 statements and other reports

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
