Salary: $20.50 hourly 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Scarborough, ON
Shifts: Day, Morning
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, Poultry processing plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Knives
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging
- The candidates should be able to cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use
- The candidates should be able to remove bones from meat
