Salary: $16.00 to $22.70 per hour for 40 hours per week (+ Production Bonus of up to $1.00/hour, + Attendance Bonus of up to $1.00/hour, + Further increases as per Collective Agreement)

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience the details are mentioned below

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 27 kg (60 lbs.)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be willing to adhere to all hygienic and food safety requirements in the plant
  • The candidate having previous industrial / manufacturing plant experience is considered an asset and have the ability to work in a wide range of environmental conditions from cool to warm and wet to dry
  • The candidate having an experience working with and committed to Good Manufacturing Practices is considered an asset and also having an experience in food manufacturing within a fast-paced environment is an asset
  • The candidate should be comfortable being part of a multi-cultural, unionized environment and also be committed to safe work practices
  • The candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be focused on continuous improvement and also ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed as per Company policies


  • The candidate should be able to receive live hogs, and or kill (evisceration, hide removal, by-product processing) and other related activities/ packaging and/ or visual inspection, sorting, grading, scale weighing, truck loading, cleaning, operating equipment as related to above process
  • The candidate should be able to participate as part of a team in the processing of hogs to produce fresh and frozen product and also assist with various tasks in the department assigned
  • The candidate should be able to keep up to production line speed and also handle most jobs in the Barn, Dressing, Cut and Packaging floors include assembly line work
