Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a Master’s degree and be self-starters with a high level of integrity and maturity, demonstrating proven leadership skills in mentoring and developing team members
  • The candidates should have strong knowledge of GFSI requirements (FSSC 22000) and previous experience as a verification facilitator
  • The candidates should demonstrate an understanding of statistical process control (SPC), HACCP, sanitation, analytical and microbiological testing principles, and hygienic design principles
  • The candidates should possess project management skills and have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint and ERP system and quality system experience, with SAP and Infinity

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead a large team of quality professionals, including laboratory staff, quality compliance specialists, sanitation teams, quality supervisors, quality engineers, and other support staff, ensuring the successful execution of quality and production strategies
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with corporate quality teams and support functions to implement quality excellence programs aimed at reducing consumer complaints, minimizing wait times, executing remediation, and ensuring regulatory compliance and utilize industry and Kraft Heinz quality tools such as RCFA, SPC, and Green Belt methodologies to improve product quality and ensure superior standards
  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement best-in-class quality and food safety KPIs to measure team performance and align with broader plant and business priorities and foster team member engagement through effective leadership, career development, and conflict management strategies, build strong relationships with plant leadership teams to drive quality programs through cross-functional collaboration and shared objectives
  • The candidates should be able to support automation and digital transformation initiatives, including KHC Lighthouse and Factory/Lab of the Future projects and assess the skills and performance of plant QA personnel while providing training, coaching, and accountability to enhance team effectiveness
  • The candidates should be able to develop work instructions and training programs to ensure uniformity and establish quality standards and manage the plant’s corrective and preventive action programs to drive continuous improvement in quality processes
  • The candidates should be able to support innovation excellence by overseeing testing and feedback from R&D plants, ensuring successful commercialization of brand maintenance and innovation projects and maintain GMPs, HACCP programs, and prerequisite programs while acting as the primary liaison with external regulatory agencies such as the FDA and CFIA during inspections and audits
  • The candidates should be able to provide expert guidance on plant quality activities and inquiries while preparing and leading internal and external quality audits with a focus on corrective and preventive actions and proactively monitor KHC quality systems, tools, and data sources to identify and mitigate potential risks before they occur
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate record-keeping for all mandatory quality control, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities and analyze and support ACR initiatives related to quality issues and factory-controllable consumer complaints and prepare and maintain relevant FSQ permits and licenses for the plant
  • The candidates should be able to manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and inventory for plant quality supplies, including filters, chemicals, tools, and laboratory materials and oversee company quality and manufacturing initiatives, including the implementation of the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS)
  • The candidates should be able to develop strong working relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure quality compliance and communicate effectively across all levels of the plant and company management team, ensuring transparency and alignment on quality objectives
