Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Certified Nurse in Critical Care – Canada (CNCC-C), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, Tracheostomy care training, Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification, Fetal health surveillance�Certification, Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, Certified foot care nurse, Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) neonatal resuscitation program, Acute care nursing Certificate
Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check, Tuberculosis test, Eligible for professional liability insurance, Immunization records, Criminal record check, Basic security clearance, Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to do sound discrimination
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, interpersonal awareness, values and ethics, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
- The candidates should be able to take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, monitore nutritional intake and conduct specimen collection
- The candidates should be able to provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
- The candidates should be able to monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
- The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
- The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
