Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Experience with special needs children:Â Children with allergies
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate judgment, be organized, and demonstrate reliability
- The candidates should manage time effectively, show patience, and demonstrate honesty
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- The candidates should be able to sterilize bottles and prepare formulas and assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties and bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and tend to emotional well-being of children
