Villa Providence Shediac Inc. based in Shediac, NB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of RN(registered nurse). Villa Providence Shediac Inc. is an organization of long-term care home offering quality care services to beneficiaries, through a dedicated and competent team. We offer residents with a nursing care service provided by a Director, a Manager, a coordinator, nurses, auxiliary nurses, care attendants, rehabilitation attendants, clerks and doctors on call. We also provide palliative care. We, through its holistic approach, aim to be a safe and warm home aimed at meeting the needs of the beneficiary. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $36.81 to $48.22 hourly for 75 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Shediac, NB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night and Weekend
Work Setting: Nursing home or home for the aged, relocation costs are covered by employer and willing to relocate
Security and Safety: Criminal record should checked, immunization records needed and Tuberculosis test will done, medical exam
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: Candidates must have eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse by the province or territory of work, CPR Certificate and licensure as a registered nurse by provincial or territorial authorities

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- The candidate should be able to collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care
- The candidate should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- The candidate should be able to monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- The candidate should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- The candidate should be able to provide nursing care
- The candidate should be able to supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
