Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to lead a Field Sales team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with the Fortune 2000 and other Medium and Large Enterprise clients and also have the business savvy and the technical sales background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider
  • The candidate should be able to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology for AWS in Central Canada
  • The candidate should be able to possess a technology sales management background that enables them to lead a team of senior field sales representatives with engagements at the CXO and lines of business level
  • The candidate should have the experience with solution selling with a business outcomes focus and also be a self-starter who is prepared to own, define, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets
  • The candidate should be able to travel that could be 25-50%
  • The candidate needs 5+ years of direct technology related sales or business development experience. (Ideally in Infrastructure: Data Center, platform, PaaS, etc.) and also needs 5+ years of sales management experience working for a technology vendor selling software or cloud solutions to Fortune 2000 clients.
  • The candidate needs 5+ years of experience successfully building and executing go-to market plans for Fortune 2000 accounts and also needs 5+ years of experience building high performing field sales and multi-disciplined teams
  • The candidate having BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience and also having Software / cloud selling experience is preferred
  • The candidate has High growth company experience and having strong verbal and written communications skills is preferred
  • The candidate having a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus and also having an extensive customer network is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to perform responsibilities including driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in accounts within Central Canada and perform responsibilities including building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the Central Canadian market.
  • The candidate should be able to drive revenue and new market share in Central Canada and also meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • The candidate should be able to develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan and also accelerate customer adoption.
  • The candidate should be able to maintain a robust sales pipeline and also work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • The candidate should be able to manage contract negotiations and also develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • The candidate should be able to ensure customer satisfaction.
