Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be available for overtime as required, be able to manage physically demanding tasks, and be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, have efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be able to take initiative, be organized, reliable, and be effective team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, showcasing culinary skills and attention to detail, and present bills to customers while accepting payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings accurately
  • The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections to enhance customer satisfaction, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance in service, and balance cash and record sales accurately for financial accountability
  • The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently to maintain a tidy dining area, describe and advise on wine selections, conducting sensory evaluations to enhance dining experiences, and serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring timely service for guests
  • The candidates should be able to supervise other servers and bussing staff, providing guidance and support as needed, schedule staff effectively, ensuring adequate coverage for service demands, and train staff in service techniques and standards to maintain high-quality customer service
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring a welcoming and accommodating environment, and provide excellent customer service, fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere
