Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be focused on clients, should be organized, should work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, present bills to customers, and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, and make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
