Food Music Art based in Toronto, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Server – food and beverage services. Food Music Art offers a variety of cuisines from pub food to pasta dishes and fusion fare. We provide networking opportunities for local Artists, Poets, Comedians, local bands and DJ’s to showcase their talents, while providing our guests with entertainment. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.50 hourly 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
