Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience, in social work or other related field
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Community service organization
Type of treatment experience: Crisis intervention counselling
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail and MS Office
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be knowledgeable about socio-economic needs or conditions, including housing, nutrition, unemployment, and financial assistance
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and proficient in weight handling, able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to engage in housekeeping activities and resolve conflict situations
- The candidates should be able to prepare reports or case histories and perform administrative tasks
- The candidates should be able to conduct individual and group counseling sessions and appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services
