Salary: $28.50 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Niagara Falls, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On Call, Morning
Supervision: 5-10 people and Kitchen and food service helpers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Bondable and Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, walking, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be focused on clients, should have efficient interpersonal skills, should have excellent oral communication
  • The candidate should be flexible, should work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, hire food service staff, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • The candidates should be able to prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers’ complaints or concerns, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, or wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules
