Salary: $18.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: On-site customer service, Restaurant
Supervision: 11-15 people, Food service counter attendants and food preparers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and in hot conditions
  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be flexible team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to estimate and order ingredients and supplies, hire food service staff, and ensure food service and quality control
  • The candidates should be able to prepare a budget and cost estimates, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules
