Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have B.Sc, M.Sc, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 2 years of experience in firmware development, embedded systems, and wireless networks as a software developer
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in C and C++ programming languages, with a strong understanding of operating systems, kernel, and driver development
- The candidates should be knowledgeable about Linux as a development environment, with the ability to work effectively within this ecosystem
- The candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders
- The candidates should have an in-depth understanding of microcontrollers, interrupts, UART, SPI, I2C, Timers, Power management, and Wireless SOC’s
- The candidates should have proven experience with the Yocto build environment and test infrastructure for CI/CD
- The candidates should have strong knowledge of Linux Kernel development, Python, Shell scripting, and Java
- The candidates should be familiar with version control systems such as Git and code review tools like Gerrit
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with a diverse team to systematize, design, code, and test radio platform software and Open RAN technologies
- The candidates should be able to develop production software, unit test software, and automated test software for 5G radio and Open RAN products
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing, contributing to the continuous improvement of product quality
- The candidates should be able to participate in software/hardware integration testing in the lab, both independently and as part of a team
- The candidates should be able to review and provide feedback on software designs and test plans, ensuring high-quality deliverables
