Great Northern Hydroponics began growing tomatoes in 1998 with our first greenhouse, a 50-acre conventional facility. Our goal is to achieve the perfect integration between agriculture and technology — using techniques that are environmentally sustainable and responsible. Our 70-acre facility grows more than 10 varieties of tomatoes, proudly sold under the Village Farms® label. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Work site environment: Candidates should work in hot and cold/refrigerated place
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Strawberries
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidate should be able to fertilize and spray crops and also harvest crops
