Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, supermarket/grocery store

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in various environmental conditions, including air-conditioned, cold/refrigerated, dusty, and environments with odors
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, capable of meeting tight deadlines and performing repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and meet physically demanding tasks, with attention to detail and comfort in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods and walking
  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, willing to work overtime when required, and able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus and flexibility, being organized, reliable, and a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery, and obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom
  • The candidates should be able to direct customers to the location of articles sought and unpack products received by the store, counting, weighing, or sorting items
  • The candidates should be able to maintain computerized stock inventory, stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order
  • The candidates should be able to price items using a stamp or stickers according to the price list and attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
  • The candidates should be able to fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock, perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, and operate a cash register
  • The candidates should be able to perform order picking and provide customer service
