Teaguy Teas Inc was started in 1999 with the opening of a small bohemian teahouse. We are British Columbia’s signature purveyor of the finest teas available. we have spent over 2 decades sourcing teas and tisanes from all corners of the globe. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. Salary: $16.50 per hour for 6 to 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time leading to full time
Location: 2998 Kilpatrick Ave, Courtenay, BC, V9N 8P1
Shifts: Day
Work Setting: Food and beverage plant
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, manually dexter, stand for extended periods, pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads and able for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in flexible environment
- The candidate should be a team player and also reliable
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to Food safety/handling skills, Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers and also Remove filled containers from conveyors
- The candidate should be able to Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, Feed and unload processing machines, Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and also Clean machines and immediate work areas
