Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or CCQ card
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted and repair cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives
- The candidates should be able to erect scaffolding and swing stages, attach rigging, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
- The candidates should be able to apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood, metal, and drywall, for finish coats
- The candidates should be able to remove fixtures such as pictures, doorknobs, lamps, and electrical covers prior to painting
- The candidates should be able to measure and install drywall panels to accommodate electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, door frames, and plumbing and complete assignments on time
- The candidates should be able to possess skills with power and non-power tools to saw, drill, or cut holes in panels for electrical outlets, air-conditioning units, door frames, and plumbing
- The candidates should be able to produce satisfactory results for the client and work to the standards of Air Canada and accept direction from the Manager or Lead Hand
