Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, dangerous goods occurrence reports, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), and trip reports

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Equipment and machinery experience: Stone slinger, concrete mixing, and straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone, tools, and gloves
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
Security and safety: Valid passport, criminal record check, driver’s validity licence check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, including weight handling up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and weight handling up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads effectively

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player
• The candidates should be hardworking and committed to their responsibilities

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, demonstrate professionalism in customer service, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
• The candidates should be able to drive lighter, special-purpose trucks, have mountain driving expertise, and load and unload goods
• The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform brake adjustments, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as preventive maintenance
• The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, pay and receive payments for goods, tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo, and transport and handle dangerous goods
