Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Documentation knowledge: Accident Or Incident Reports, Bill Of Lading, Driver Logbook, Inspection Report (Pre-Trip, En-Route, Post-Trip), And Maintenance And Repair Reports
Type of trucking and equipment: Logging, Off-Highway, Tractor-Trailer, And Tractor-Trailer B Train
Own tools/equipment: Cellular Phone, Hard Hat, Steel-Toed Safety Boots, Safety Vest, And Gloves
Credentials: AZ Class License, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (Semi Trailer Trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, And Driver’s License (Class 1 Or A)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail, handle heavy loads, and work overtime as required
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, handle repetitive tasks, and sit for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, demonstrate professionalism in customer service, and load and unload goods
• The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, and perform preventive maintenance
• The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
