Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed secondary school
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working with different heavy-duty underground vehicles

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines and work independently and in a team environment
• The candidates should be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and be motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have previous shop or yard experience and effective oral and written communication skills
• The candidates should have Module 13, Module 14, and Module 24 certifications (preferable) along with basic underground common core and hold a valid G-Class driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to wash mining equipment and components as required, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of machinery
• The candidates should be able to maintain the Wash Bay area, ensuring it promotes a safe and efficient work environment for all tasks
• The candidates should be able to perform routine and daily inspections of equipment and the work area to identify potential issues and ensure safety standards are met
• The candidates should be able to complete work orders as assigned, keeping track of the tasks and ensuring timely completion
• The candidates should be able to transport parts to and from the Underground shops using an Underground Boom Truck or Underground Toyota
• The candidates should be able to replenish shop inventory, such as parts and oil, to ensure availability of necessary materials
• The candidates should be able to empty waste and recycling bins from shops and ensure proper disposal in designated areas on the surface
• The candidates should be able to manage surface to underground deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient transport of materials
• The candidates should be able to assist the mechanic with tasks as needed and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• The candidates should be able to create work orders with minimal supervision, ensuring clear and accurate documentation for tasks
