Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Correspondence, reports and records, contracts, invoices, charts, tables, graphs and diagrams, project management, business process management, facility management
Computer and technology knowledge: Google Docs, Microsoft Visio, Sage Accounting Software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Electronic scheduler, Social Media, Accounting software, MS Office, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google Drive, LinkedIn, WordPerfect, Electronic mail, and Website creation and management software

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and handle a large caseload

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc., record and prepare minutes of meetings, and oversee the preparation of reports
  • The candidates should be able to open and distribute mail and other materials, answer telephone and relay calls and messages, and respond to electronic inquiries
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, order office supplies and maintain inventory, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to compile data, statistics, and other information, conduct research, and develop marketing plans
