Salary: $3,520 to $4,160 bi-weekly (To be negotiated) for 80 hours bi-weekly

Location: North Vancouver, BC & Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, vehicle supplied by employer, and willing to travel

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Project planning and wiring
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and hard hat
Credentials: Construction Electrician Trade Certification and Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, handle tight deadlines effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should have a strong attention to detail and be able to distinguish between colors accurately
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity and be prepared for overtime as required
• The candidates should manage physically demanding tasks effectively

• The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate a strong client focus
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication
• The candidates should be flexible in adapting to various situations and exercise good judgment in decision-making

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, recommend measures to improve productivity, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• The candidates should be able to supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, and train or arrange for training
• The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and read blueprints and electrical schematics
• The candidates should be able to recommend personnel actions, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
• The candidates should be able to prepare working drawings and organize tasks to accomplish the work
