Salary: $20.10 hourly for 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Gloves, Safety glasses/goggles, and Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces, handle dusty environments, and work in noisy conditions
• The candidates should have 20/20 vision and attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and handle physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have hand-eye coordination, and possess manual dexterity
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be capable of weight handling, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and have good judgment
• The candidates should be reliable and a team player

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids and change engine oil, lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment
• The candidates should be able to assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed and grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment
• The candidates should be able to install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators and repair and balance tires
• The candidates should be able to replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment
