Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset:

  • The candidates should have a positive attitude, be dependable and reliable, and have excellent oral communication skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in the display of merchandise, and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers, discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and maintain sales records for inventory control
  • The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
