Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing, scraping away scales, cutting fish, separating fillets, and removing scrap parts using a knife
  • The candidates should be able to check fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of fillet sections, cut sections according to specifications, and place them in a container for weighing
  • The candidates should be able to check products and packaging for defects, ensure conformance to company standards, and perform corrective machine adjustments as required, recording production information
  • The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas, weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack fish in ice, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in fish and seafood processing
