Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel
• The candidates should be able to walk frequently and handle physically demanding tasks and be attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong client focus and efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should be flexible and a team player and be able to take initiative and be dependable

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies and supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and hire food service staff
• The candidates should be able to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers’ complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports and establish work schedules
