Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an assetÂ
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be physically capable of demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- The candidates should have good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as walking for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and have attention to detail
- The candidates should be physically capable of demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and have manual dexterity
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and maintaining manual dexterity
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, feed infants and toddlers, and guide them in developing eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs supporting various aspects of child development
- The candidates should be able to lead activities such as storytelling, singing, local outings, and engage children in crafting
- The candidates should be able to order supplies, maintain daycare equipment, and assist in housekeeping, cooking, and arranging rooms for meal and rest times
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators, maintain records, and submit observations on children to supervisors
- The candidates should have knowledge of licensing regulations, establish behavior guidelines, and assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs
- The candidates should attend staff meetings, discuss children’s progress and issues, and establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- The candidates should plan and maintain an environment ensuring children’s health, security, and well-being
