Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to identify prospective customers and refer those with Personal Banking and more complex needs to appropriate personnel and understand the local market and proactively develop relationships with centers of influence and provide accurate information about business banking products and services, respond to information requests and follow established protocols and resolve or escalate issues and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth of BMO’s business
- The candidates should be able to monitor and track performance and address any issues and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards and break down strategic problems and analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations and maintain long-term, profitable relationships and expand the organization’s wallet share within the assigned portfolio
- The candidates should be able to coordinate the management of databases, ensuring alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards or participate in defining the communication plan, develop tailored messaging, and identify appropriate distribution channels
- The candidates should be able to build change management plans of varying scope and type, leading or participating in various change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives
- The candidates should be able to independently examine credit transactions and related reporting for adherence to transactional policies and procedures, develop risk profiles, structure credit lending proposals, and complete credit investigations and support on unique and complex credit transactions, and offer day-to-day technical support for team members
- The candidates should be able to examine individual transactions and aggregate portfolio information to monitor, analyze, and report on the quality of credit activities and risk-related decisions and understand customer needs and offer financial solutions that meet customer goals and assist in the development of strategic plans, identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making and deliver exceptional customer service, building trust by providing expertise, responsive service, and support and implement solutions based on analysis of issues and business implications
- The candidates should be able to develop solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of business strategy and stakeholder needs and provide input into the planning and implementation of operational programs and guidance to the assigned business or group on implementing solutions and ensure alignment between stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to support the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and help determine business priorities and the best sequence for executing business or group strategy and conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues and execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service and develop, maintain, and execute a business plan, including relationship management strategies, to achieve customer retention objectives
- The candidates should be able to develop client rapport and instill confidence to develop credibility and earn trust as a relationship manager and identify business needs, design or develop tools, training, and coaching programs to address observed trends and skill gaps, and potentially deliver training to audiences and safeguarding procedures and apply due diligence to prevent loss due to fraud, robbery, counterfeiting, money laundering, or defalcation and adhere to business banking lending processes, policies, procedures, legal, regulatory, audit, and ethical requirements
- The candidates should be able to maintain the confidentiality of customer and Bank information in compliance with Bank policies and procedures and take appropriate actions, including documentation and other regulatory requirements, to maintain operational integrity and exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules and work independently on a range of complex tasks, including unique situations and handle broader work or accountabilities
