Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completed Post-secondary Education (College or University)
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of Retail Brokerage experience, specifically in Investment Advisor roles or similar positions
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to engage a diverse team, including branch staff, middle office, and both internal and external partners
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have CSC and CPH certifications, with the ability to complete the BM license within 3 months
- The candidates should have proven experience in leading a team, including coaching, developing, and motivating others
- The candidates should have demonstrated experience in managing ambiguity and overseeing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should have experience in managing multiple priorities and handling challenging, complex situations to drive success
- The candidates should be Decisive and Results-Driven, RBC Dominion Securities experience and a background in WM Operations and the Financial Industry is beneficial
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to effectively manage and supervise all compliance issues and responsibilities on a daily basis
- The candidates should be able to provide effective and consistent communication through weekly sales meetings, sales support meetings, and team meetings
- The candidates should be able to engage in high-performance coaching with each Investment Advisor (IA) to drive results
- The candidates should be able to provide ongoing coaching to the Branch Operations Manager, ensuring their duties are understood and accomplished successfully while offering mentoring and development opportunities
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate behaviors that motivate employees to achieve personal development, recognition, and promotion
- The candidates should be able to consistently seek opportunities to engage employees in enhancing the branch’s working environment
- The candidates should be able to develop actionable feedback for IAs and support staff, delivering both positive reinforcement and corrective guidance
- The candidates should be able to solve complex problems effectively by addressing root causes, looking beyond the obvious, and avoiding easy answers
- The candidates should possess superior written and oral communication skills to enhance collaboration and professionalism
