Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods, maintain tight deadlines and also for large workload
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
- The candidate should be dependable and also a team player
- The candidate should have accuracy, efficient interpersonal skills, an excellent oral and written communication and also interpersonal awareness
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assign and correct homework, lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness and also teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
- The candidate should be able to develop course content, evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials, participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops and also identify childrens’ individual learning needs
- The candidate should be able to prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help, prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum and also prepare, administer and correct tests
