Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have 4-year University degree in a technical, Engineering, or STEM field
Experience: Candidates should have 10+ years in developing and deploying standardized TPM, RCM, and asset lifecycle management experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be results-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities
  • The candidates must be highly adaptable to constant change, capable of working on various initiatives simultaneously, and comfortable in a very fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have PMP, Blackbelt, and/or six-sigma training and possess experience in managing multi-site scale strategic programs and projects with network/system level impact
  • The candidates should demonstrate expertise in program change management, governance, sustainment, and audit in a multi-site environment and should be highly tech-savvy, with proficiency in information technology, relational databases, reporting, analytical platforms, BI tools, generative AI platforms, and CMMS
  • The candidates should have experience in Manufacturing or a fast-paced industrial environment and have experience in people leadership and managing & developing salaried professional staff. Professional Engineering Association Membership (P.Eng.) and/or MBA
  • The candidates should have RCM or equivalent certification and should have technical consulting experience or experience in client-facing or site support roles
  • The candidates should possess knowledge of GMPs, food safety development, and health & safety requirements and demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, be critical thinkers, and capable of challenging the status quo
  • The candidates should be creative problem solvers (not just problem finders), have an entrepreneurial spirit, and a can-do attitude and have a proven capability to provide technical leadership to business and operations
  • The candidates should be self-starters, with high energy, customer-oriented, and superb communication/interpersonal skills at all levels

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and deploy standardized TPM programs across the Maple Leaf network and able to be a subject matter expert in identifying risks and costs to reliability using statistical methods and KPIs
  • The candidates should be able to develop strategic action plans for mitigating risk to uptime, costs, and customer fill-rates service levels using Reliability Centered Maintenance and other Six Sigma techniques and able to develop asset strategies for common and critical assets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • The candidates should be able to establish the requirements and process for asset lifecycle management, from design to decommissioning and able to develop and deploy asset health and condition indexing for long-term asset investments
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and maintain AR systems and analytical tools; identify and address chronic problems and able to enhance work management processes, developing standards, SOPs, guides, audits, and training
  • The candidates should be able to improve and sustain the integrity and quality of AR data by implementing network-wide standards and KPIs and able to perform benchmarking gap analysis to define AR maturity opportunities towards world-class
  • The candidates should be able to coach plant teams and facilitate failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), root cause failure elimination (RCFE), and preventive maintenance optimization (PMO)
  • The candidates should be able to establish processes for spares planning; identify opportunities to eliminate and prevent excess inventory and able to provide change management and training for plant reliability practices and maintenance techniques
  • The candidates should be able to provide reliability due diligence inputs to new builds, and mergers & acquisitions and able to attend industry events to keep AR strategy aligned with leading technologies and processes
  • The candidates should be able to perform other related maintenance and reliability problems and improvement opportunities activities
