Other Requirements:

- The candidate should have strong digital skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), be bilingual in English and French
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to diligently and accurately manage lobbying registrations and disclosure reports within applicable deadlines to ensure compliance with lobbying regulatory requirements in Canada and the United States
- The candidate should be able to plan and schedule meetings with elected officials, senior government officials, external organizations, and internal colleagues, including coordinating attendance and preparing and distributing support materials
- The candidate should be able to support the organization of CPKC’s Ottawa office by welcoming visitors, coordinating with internal departments, and managing office supply
- The candidate should be able to book and manage travel reservations and handle business expense reporting accurately
- The candidate should be able to develop and maintain a contacts database of elected and non-elected senior government officials
- The candidate should be able to provide administrative support for managing incoming and outgoing executive correspondence
- The candidate should be able to assist in improving internal processes and documentation management to enhance operational efficiency and consistency
- The candidate should be able to develop, organize, and lead special projects and perform other duties as needed to support the priorities and objectives of CPKC’s Government Affairs and Communications team
