Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of completed a Diploma in Business Administration or Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience with administrative and clerical practices
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to make decisions, ability to manage time and tasks, ability to effectively exchange information and the ability to manage stress in a work environment
- The candidates should acknowledge the requirement to lift, reach, retrieve, and return materials up to 15 kg on and off shelving units in an inventory control environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience using Microsoft Office applications, experience in inventory systems
- The candidates should have knowledge of administrative and clerical practices, Â knowledge of inventory processing systems
- The candidates should have strong relationship-building skills, a recent and satisfactory Enhanced Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to efficiently and timely perform advanced information management and administrative functions related to the Quartermasters’ inventory and information for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC)
- The candidates should be able to administer the Quartermasters Inventory Database and participate in the operation and maintenance of the Quartermasters Stores, including providing service to internal members
- The candidates should be able to ensure materials are received in good working order and distributed to the appropriate personnel, lift and handle materials up to 15 kg as part of their duties
- The candidates should be able to gather and compile requested and specialized information in various formats for users, maintain and gather statistical data on Quartermasters’ operations for reporting and analysis
- The candidates should be able to participate in the maintenance of the Quartermasters’ policies and procedures, provide workflow coordination, guidance to new employees, and support to subordinate staff
- The candidates should be able to complete other related duties as assigned by the Departmental Program Coordinator
