Albion Amusements Ltd based in Markdale, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Amusement park attendant. Albion Amusements Ltd has been located in Markdale, Ontario, for the past 30 years. We presently own over 20 rides and it has been our goal to acquire at least one new ride per year. Our company supplies bunkhouses for all staff with shower facilities. We also provide portable toilets at each event for our staff. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.00 to $17.00 hourly for 40 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours and Morning
Work setting: Amusement park, staff accommodation provided and various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client and also work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be someone who can judge, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to set up rides and amusements, operate rides and amusements and also drive trucks, vans and other vehicles to transport amusement rides, games and other attractions to amusement attraction sites
- The candidate should be able to perform maintenance on rides and equipment and also clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds
- The candidate should be able to assist patrons on and off rides and also secure and release safety belts and bars
- The candidate should be able to collect tickets and fees, and rent or sell sports and accessory equipment
