Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a 3 year degree in Human Resources and Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of relevant experience working in talent acquisition or employer outreach and engagement

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • The candidates should have expertise in using database management systems and Familiarity with the provisions, practices, and trends within these areas

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with job developers to understand current business needs and work with the Associate Director to prioritize tasks and workload and support employers with uploading job postings in Sheridan Works and promote the use of Sheridan Works, including data entry of job postings
  • The candidates should be able to assist the job developer team in screening employers for suitability against program relevancy and securing buy-in, commitment, and participation
  • The candidates should be able to notify employers of the next steps in the hiring process and follow up with employers to receive required co-op documentation and update receipt in Sheridan Works
  • The candidates should be able to document and maintain employer-related activity and information in Sheridan Works
  • The candidates should be able to support job developers by reviewing student-generated positions and managing data entry, as well as following up with employers
  • The candidates should be able to support the co-op team by ensuring that up-to-date metrics are available in Sheridan Works
  • The candidates should be able to respond to general employer inquiries and direct employers to appropriate services
  • The candidates should be able to understand the capability and functionality of Sheridan Works and ensure that operating procedures are followed for Cooperative Education
  • The candidates should be able to support employer relations events job fairs, awards events and other employer relations activities and participate in various co-op related meetings and represent the department at special events
