Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have Minimum of 4-5 years of business development experience (preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should travel to see customers and attend internal meetings

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong understanding of Food Service and Distributors, marketing business principles, competitive trends, and P&L management
• The candidates should possess excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• The candidates should have a sound command of standard computer programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• The candidates should demonstrate a good understanding of French (spoken and written)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to organize, plan, and execute sales initiatives for retail accounts with the aim of maximizing sales and profitability to meet annual budget targets
• The candidates should be able to achieve annual sales and profit budgets and able to manage monthly and annual forecasting
• The candidates should be able to develop account/category specific business plans to meet marketing and sales objectives consistent with the Organization’s strategic orientation
• The candidates should be able to provide a high level of analysis and organization in leading contract and price increase negotiations
• The candidates should be able to coordinate marketing programs and negotiate business arrangements to meet target objectives
• The candidates should be able to develop and present monthly business and investment reviews, identifying variances to forecast and making recommendations for mutual benefit
• The candidates should be able to participate in developing sales and investment objectives by product category (budgets, volumes, and costs)
• The candidates should be able to identify strategic opportunities that highlight competitive advantages through offering added value in products and services (including distribution, billing, price list consolidation, and EDI)
• The candidates should be able to continuously perform post-audits on negotiation mandates and recommendations
• The candidates should be able to work within the framework of established budgets and continually take advantage of opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of sales expenses
