Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience working with persons with disabilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience using and operating assistive technologies,  knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines and knowledge of AODA guidelines
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist students in familiarizing themselves with agency policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to guide students in understanding expectations, such as 360 scans and following the lead regarding discipline
- The candidates should be able to support students with communication, including notifying when leaving a room, maintaining supervision, addressing children and parents appropriately, and sharing information with staff
- The candidates should be able to help students gain familiarity with agency activities, schedules, and programming, remind students of safety requirements and protocols
- The candidates should be able to assist students in processing and incorporating feedback effectively
