Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have previous retail management experience as an asset

  • The candidates should be able to follow and ensure compliance of all corporate LP, Cash, and Store Audit Compliance, and OH&S policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to coach and develop store staff, through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support
  • The candidates should be able to follow up to ensure execution of Weekly Plans for the store
  • The candidates should be able to create development plans and conduct annual appraisals for Part-Time staff members; support and coach to improve any performance gaps and conduct ongoing coaching to improve the team
  • The candidates should be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner; leading effective Huddles/Meetings/Coaching sessions all while keeping the team well informed of pertinent information
  • The candidates should be able to ensure PHL staff have an understanding of department maintenance standards and general merchandising
  • The candidates should be able to provide resolution for all customer concerns
  • The candidates should be able to continually motivate the team and performance through recognition programs, store contests, customer compliments, and compensation
  • The candidates should be able to maintain PHL performance management expectations (feedback/coaching); this includes progressive discipline where necessary
