- The candidates should understand Data and AI technologies in the context of app development, such as SQL and NoSQL databases, Big Data, Cognitive Services, and Machine Learning

- The candidates should be able to build business cases with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and negotiate deals based on value by leveraging various Microsoft offers and programs and secure customer commitment for the business proposal
- The candidates should be able to drive the App Innovation business to overachieve revenue, consumption, and scorecard targets and maintain excellence in pipeline management, accuracy of sales forecasts, and deal close plans
- The candidates should be able to influence Microsoft Application Innovation go-to-market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on product requirements and sales blockers
- The candidates should be able to stay sharp by attaining and maintaining required certifications, continuously enhancing their technical, sales, and professional skills, and driving individual work that results in business impact for customers, partners, and within Microsoft and encouraged to demonstrate thought leadership and leadership in their roles
