Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of one year of certificate education in a field such as Legal Administration, Legal Assistant and Criminology
Experience: Candidates should have past experience working with the criminal disclosure process

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a related discipline, plus one year of related experience in Legal Administration or an equivalent position
  • The candidates should have experience working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional, experience working with JOIN, PRISM, and Criminal E-file
  • The candidates should have experience working in a legal administrative or similar role specializing in Criminal law and knowledge of the Criminal Justice system

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to ingest electronic documents and ensure proper organization and storage in compliance with legal requirements
  • The candidates should be able to conduct quality control reviews of documents to verify their accuracy and completeness
  • The candidates should be able to log and track documents in Excel to maintain an up-to-date record of all disclosures
  • The candidates should be able to respond to telephone and counter inquiries related to disclosures, providing clear and accurate information
  • The candidates should be able to determine the sensitivity of information in police reports and statements, making informed decisions about necessary redactions
  • The candidates should be able to perform other administrative duties as needed to help achieve office goals, provide coverage for the reception front desk
