Learning Patch Children’s Center is a nurturing and educational childcare facility dedicated to the holistic development of young children. With a focus on early childhood education and personalized care, Learning Patch offers engaging programs designed to stimulate creativity, curiosity, and social skills. Their experienced educators provide a supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $27.00 hourly for 37.5 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day
Work setting: Child care centre

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be reliable team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, and encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
  • The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
