Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least two years of experience in field installation services
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds continuously, be available for frequent travel for extended periods
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities
- The candidates should be able to perform mathematical calculations, a strong mechanical aptitude
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights, maintain an orderly, clean, and safe worksite
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have GED, or equivalent education, a Millwright certification, experience operating forklifts, aerial lifts, and other heavy equipment
- The candidates should have experience working on construction sites and using power tools and hand tools
- The candidates should have Welding Certifications, Aerial Lift License, Forklift License, and Confined Space Certification, with training provided
- The candidates should follow CVOR regulations applicable to AGI and knowledge of construction site best practices and safety procedures
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to enable the provision of high-quality, consistent, and cost-effective x-ray, cardiology, and laboratory services in Nunavut communities
- The candidates should be able to support health care professionals by providing diagnostic services required for patient care
- The candidates should be able to perform basic x-ray procedures within the Basic Radiological Technician scope of practice, following territorial and national standards for performance and safety
- The candidates should be able to provide radiological services within the health centre and perform laboratory clerk responsibilities and provide clerical support to diagnostic services for effective administration
- The candidates should be able to conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) and holter monitor services based on physician or nurse practitioner referrals
