Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a university degree
Experience: Candidates should have three to five years’ experience in a distribution environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to cover alternate shifts demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership, managing critical customer interfaces with adaptability while understanding the impact on profitability

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have knowledge of third-party storage requirements, demonstrate strong data entry and computer skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • The candidates should have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail,  possess excellent comprehension and analytical skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The candidates should have strong knowledge of floor operations across all shifts, be highly proficient in SAP systems
  • The candidates should demonstrate problem-solving skills, enabling them to consider multiple variables and solutions in a time-sensitive environment
  • The candidates should possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written),  strong interpersonal skills that allow for conflict resolution
  • The candidates should have strong analytical skills required to gain insights on key shipping metrics, demonstrate proven initiative and leadership skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage warehouse inventory and optimize processes along the supply chain
  • The candidates should be able to reconcile warehouse inventory regularly and conduct physical inventory checks, coordinate warehouse needs with the Production Coordinator and plan volume requirements effectively
  • The candidates should be able to proactively resolve warehouse inventory discrepancies, utilize product and supply chain knowledge to determine accurate warehouse inventory levels in the SAP system
  • The candidates should be able to communicate the status of at-risk spice inventory to the QA team for disposition, manage out-of-code inventory proactively and accurately, perform key processing tasks in the ERP-system SAP, including cycle count inventory
  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation in the warehouse, assist the team and management with projects and tasks, identify and recommend process improvements related to inventory management
  • The candidates should be able to support and reconcile stock transfer movements from plants to third-party logistics (3PL) providers in SAP, work towards achieving individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • The candidates should be able to follow up on and resolve inventory-related issues efficiently, adhere to standard operating procedures and ensure internal controls are in place and effective
  • The candidates should be able to continuously improve inventory stock level processes using Six Sigma methodologies by identifying opportunities for optimization, liaise and build strong, trust-based relationships with cross-functional teams, including production, customer service, logistics, sales, and marketing
  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement warehouse processes to maintain accurate inventory, minimize aged stock, reduce product shortages, and limit inventory loss/discrepancies in an SAP-Walker drive-managed warehouse environment, enhance and streamline warehouse processes to improve product identification and location, thereby increasing picking efficiencies
