Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be dedicated to client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should be reliable in meeting commitments and be team players

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and carry/replace linen
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidates should be able to load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers, and place dishes in the storage area
• The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and supplies at tables, sanitize/wash dishes by hand, scour pots and pans, and keep records of food quantities used
• The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
• The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and take customers’ orders
• The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming foodstuffs
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products, receive/unpack/store supplies, remove kitchen garbage/trash, and sharpen kitchen knives
• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
