Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of graduate of a post-secondary program
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience of hand tools

• The candidates should be able to have other opportunities to learn and expand their knowledge
• The candidates should be enrolled in or a  in a related field or have equivalent experience
• The candidates should possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License (class G or G2) with a clean abstract
• The candidates should have previous experience or knowledge in the operation of various commercial turf equipment (line trimmer, backpack blower, push mower) in a commercial, municipal, or golf course setting

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to maintain the Park’s grass areas through line trimming, backpack blowing, sod repairs, and lawn mowing
• The candidates should be able to assist as needed in other areas within the department including planting, weeding, cultivating, edging, mulching, irrigating, pruning, site cleanup, and site washdown or waste recovery
• The candidates should be able to make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories and interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds
• The candidates should be able to gain skills, knowledge, and experience that will benefit them in their future endeavors
